Our Programs
Ironwood Prep runs year-round sessions across four learning tracks. Each is designed to be rigorous, relational, and relevant to the world these students are actually entering.

Writing, rhetoric, and close reading. Students write weekly, workshop each other's drafts, and read across genres — from essays to journalism to speculative fiction. We believe every future engineer needs to write clearly.
Pre-algebra through pre-calculus, taught in small groups. We supplement with applied projects: budgeting, data interpretation, probability. Math is not a performance — it's a tool.
Life sciences, earth science, and introductory chemistry and physics. Lab-style inquiry even without a lab — students design experiments, collect data, and write up findings.
Our flagship track. Python fundamentals, how the internet works, digital privacy, and introductory security concepts. Paired with our Career Series, this track is designed for students who want to see themselves in tech before they get there.
This is the track that launched Ironwood Prep.
